Eduzaas provides school management software to schools. Schools decide what personal data they put into Eduzaas; we process it on their behalf to provide the service. This page explains how we handle that data.
1. Who is responsible
For data that a school stores in Eduzaas (students, guardians, staff, fees, attendance and so on), the school is the data controller and Nastronics acts as a data processor. For data about our own customers and website visitors, Nastronics is the controller.
2. Data we collect
Account data: names, email addresses, phone numbers and roles of school users.
School data: information schools enter or import, such as student records, attendance, results, fees, transport and messages.
Usage data: technical logs, device and browser information used to secure and improve the service.
Location data: bus positions are collected from the attendant app only while a trip is active; parents may share a home pickup location voluntarily.
3. How we use data
To provide, maintain and secure the service; to send notifications that schools configure (email, SMS, WhatsApp, push); to provide support; and to bill subscriptions.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use school data for advertising.
5. Security
Each school’s data is logically isolated, transmitted over TLS and backed up regularly. Third-party credentials are encrypted at rest. Access is controlled by roles and permissions, and important actions are audit-logged.
6. Retention and export
Schools can export their data at any time. When a subscription ends, data is retained for a limited period to allow reactivation or export, and then deleted from active systems and, in due course, from backups.
7. Your rights
Parents, students and staff should contact their school first to access, correct or delete their data. We will assist schools in responding to such requests. You may also contact us directly.
